Job Description

Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications; Designing, configuring and administering networks using Cisco Enterprise devices, Azure cloud networks, Network Routers and Switches, network protocols, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN tunnels, & LAN and WAN; Maintaining and enhancing physical and Azure cloud networks comprised of multiple physical and virtual data centers; Analyzing and configuring network routers and switches; Modifying and implementing Azure firewall, Cisco firewall and Forti Gate; Participating in the enforcement of Azure security policies and procedures by administering security profiles, reviewing security violation reports and investigating possible security exceptions; Configuring firewall rules which provide proper authoritative access to users according to business requirements; Implementing remote access VPN technology by designing Azure VPN tunnels; Ensuring the optimization of LAN/WAN network infrastructures; Developing and implementing test validations of the cloud system networks; Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications; Backing up, restoring and upgrading various network appliances; Performing system upgrades, product updates and applications; Developing and maintaining Azure network diagrams and operational documentations; and documenting issues and resolutions to proactively reduce issues and inquiries with the cloud systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Network Engineering and Security or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field; and experience with Cisco Enterprise devices, Azure cloud networks, Network Routers and Switches, network protocols, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN tunnels, & LAN and WAN.
