Your Challenge:

 

The purpose of this position is to perform a full range of accounts receivable duties including invoicing for all types of revenue sources, cash application, revenue recognition, collections, monitoring receivables, and maintaining records for multiple entities and business units. Produces and maintains accounting records in Fonteva, EventsAir and NetSuite (and other systems as applicable such as various registration systems) related to accounts receivable, revenue, and cash receipts, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Responds to questions and service requests from internal and external customers.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR programs that align the workforce with key business strategies and initiatives. Working closely with function leaders and the CAO this position will ensure that talent initiatives are managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities aligned with the strategic business objectives. Within a matrixed-environment, this role influences functional activities including diagnosis, design and intervention, remedies and implementation of solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness, as well as employee engagement and retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Talent Management:
Help to drive a culture of accountability for talent management and employee engagement throughout the organization. Lead organizational change initiatives aimed at improving how the company attracts, measures, develops and manages its talent.
Lead the effort to refine activities surrounding performance management systems and processes to help drive employee productivity and development and better link performance to pay.
Work with function leaders to identify talent, create development plans and recommend leadership development programs/plans as part of an annual talent review process, as well as the continued development of the succession planning process.
Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Conduct regular engagement surveys to enhance the employee experience collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to address employee feedback and improve organizational culture.
Develop content for monthly Manager Forum meetings. Partner with CAO to facilitate sessions.
Conduct needs assessments to determine training and development needs across the organization; and provide training solutions, and/or design and deliver high-quality programs.
Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent, including leveraging employer branding initiatives optimizing recruitment channels and enhancing candidate experience.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements and execute effective recruitment plans.
Oversee Talent Acquisition team to own the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and onboarding new hires.
Generate regular reports and insights on recruitment performance, trends and key metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) workflow and continually make updates for improvement.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues, providing guidance, coaching and resolution support as needed.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Proactively identify trends and opportunities to enhance employee relations and employee experience within the organization.
Other Functions:
All duties as assigned to achieve HIMSS goals and objectives.
Audit and evaluate training courses (objectives and accomplishments) and identify/incorporate best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
Identify drivers of employee engagement and recommend strategies to create a 'best place to work' culture at HIMSS.
Develop employee/management communications related to talent programs.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned that contribute to the effectiveness of the department and to accomplish strategic goals and objectives.
What you will need to be successful:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development, or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
A minimum of five (7) years of related work experience.
A minimum of three (3) years leading Talent Acquisition teams.
Previous experience as a strategic HRBP is a plus.
Outstanding analytical skills with ability to achieve results in a complex environment.
