Position Overview
Responsible for improving the productivity of assigned group of new associates. Implements, coordinates, and presents the new hire training and development program. Provides mentoring, coaching, as well as formal facilitation to new and existing associates. Partnering with the field leadership team, trains and coaches associates to maximize performance.

Job Responsibilities
Directly manage a team of Outside Sales Professionals in a designated area
Mentors new associates as prescribed by the training program.
Maintains training calendar for training classes.
Facilitates various classes each month.
Reviews supplied materials from new associates to identify patterns of behavior and identify trainee challenges. Conducts follow-up studies of completed training to evaluate and measure results.
Monitors, coaches, and develops training team to provide effective growth and development opportunities.
Plans, organizes, facilitates, and orders supplies for associate training programs.
Provides training at all levels (basic to expert) in the field to associates.
Works with new associates to evaluate and identify improvement opportunities and provides feedback.
Communicates with relevant leaders regarding training needs and the performance of individual associates.
Increases unit sales and dollars by implementing, teaching and enforcing company sales practices.
Conducts twice weekly evening call sessions, daily sales posting, and weekly training meetings.
Works in the field with sales associates daily and maintains minimum sales activity requirements.
Ensures all sales training requirements are achieved.
Improves sales professionals' productivity and sales skills.
Evaluates sales professionals' use of sales aids and sales formula.
Monitors and ensures creative and methodically sound sales programs, proper use of sales materials and inventory of sales materials.
Sets an excellent management example and quality image.

Job Requirements
High school diploma or general education (GED) required
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with minimum 1-3 in outside sales experience required
Skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to perform basic business mathematics and analyze sales data
Ability to acquire licenses/certificates as required by federal, state or local agencies
Ability to acquire valid driver's license

Move up to 10 pounds regularly

Operate a motor vehicle

Incumbent is required to have:
Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or equipment.

Incumbent will be subject to:
Both inside (not necessarily temperature controlled) and outside (without protection from weather; extreme heat-above 100 and/or cold-below 32 for more than one hour) environmental conditions.
Exposure to animals and insects.
