Manager on our Global Forensic and Litigation Services team have the unique opportunity to conduct and prepare a wide range of forensic financial analyses; which will require strong analytical, creative, investigative, research, and organizational skills, as well as familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.

What you will do:
  • Carry out the quantification of claims on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers and others
  • Analyze data and financial / non-financial information and apply a forensic approach to the work
  • Carry out basic relevant research (internet-based and site visits) proficiently
  • Prepare clear, concise reports which can be understood by non-accountants as well as working directly with clients providing financial advisory, litigation support, insurance claim analysis and investigative services
  • Analyze client documents; understand the flow of information/ documentation; summarize relevant information
  • Review own work and co-workers' correspondence and work product for errors
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate the next steps in a project, and suggest methods and solutions to supervisory team members
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Work with Managers and above to create and modify presentations, industry articles and attend business development meetings and events, as directed
  • Demonstrate strong networking skills by attending professional organizations, client functions, events, lunches, industry functions, presentations, and seminars as directed. As well as representing the firm professionally through outside events
  • Demonstrate consistent development of technical skills, accuracy, timelines, and thoroughness in completing work assignments
  • Determines engagement timelines, in conjunction with the engagement Manager/ Director / Partner, and instructs assistants in time management methods allowing them to efficiently and effectively accomplish the Firm's objectives
Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:
  • Must have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent from an accredited college/university in the areas of Accounting and Finance
  • Working toward or having a CPA/CFE/CA/ACCA or other relevant certification is required
  • A minimum of six years public accounting or forensic consulting experience required. Will look at candidates with a combination of industry/professional service blend.
  • Business Interruption and forensics investigations experience
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and solid Microsoft Suite skills required
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and comfortably interact with senior level client personnel, including supporting the preparation of and participating in executive briefings
  • Relevant skills in project execution with hands on experience in the full life-cycle of a project
  • Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills
  • Flexibility to travel to client site as needed and ability to work beyond core business hours

Additional Information

For New York City and the state of Colorado only, the compensation range for this role is $113,640 to $240,850. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
