Job Description

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Buffalo Grove, IL: Sr. Advisor, Application Development to design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with crossfunctional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Multiple positions.

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Unix, Linux, or Shell Scripting; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Software development lifecycle; and Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.
