Job Description
Summary:
This role is responsible for set up the foamline machine and provides direction to foamline colleagues.
Essential Functions:
- Enter work orders into the system.
- Answer questions, assist in troubleshooting process and product issues. Coordinate support activities for other areas of production.
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively participate in safety initiatives.
- Support employee training and direction on the foam line.
- Partner with the engineers and supervisors to help develop sound operator work instructions, train new operators to those work instructions.
- Work toward continuous process improvements; participate and/or support on improvement teams as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing
- Mechanical aptitude
- General computer software skills
