Key Responsibilities:

Lead the evolution of our Catering supply chain team by leveraging technology to streamline forecasting, distribution, and inventory management of our products globally. Leverage team leadership and influencing skills with logistics and supply chain knowledge to drive efficiency and improvement in a dynamic operation. This role is crucial in supporting the menu development, catering partners and the operations team by advising on product availability and ensuring adherence to timelines. The ideal candidate will drive performance improvements, hold distributors and suppliers accountable, manage substitutions and implement cost-saving strategies through detailed analysis. A key focus will be on driving automation and elevating the team to function at a higher strategic level. 20-40% travel as needed.

+ Champion change management efforts, ensuring successful roll-out of all initiatives through strategic planning, engagement and execution

+ Manage and lead team responsible for inventory ordering and distribution functions with a focus on improving efficiency

+ Provide team members support for development of analytical, communication and soft skills to support individual growth

+ Collaborate with suppliers to improve timely delivery of product and order completion as well as improvements to the current supply chain model

+ Collaborate with Catering Operations Management and vendor management providing ongoing coaching and training on to supply chain teams, suppliers and other departments

+ Provide problem solving and decision making support to manage critical issues as needed

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience

+ 2+ years of applicable experience leading a team of direct reports

+ 2+ years of applicable experience leading a supply chain, logistics, vendor management or operational department

+ Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office products

+ Proficiency in supply chain management principles and methodology

+ Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams, driving vision and leadership in complex planning and implementation initiatives

+ Proven ability to work with cross functional groups, build positive relationships and drive collaborative efforts

+ Strong problem-solving and communication skills

+ Strategic mindset

+ Outstanding critical thinking and decision making abilities

+ Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Supply Chain and Logistics Management experience

+ Experience with Catering systems (e.g., CAE, AirVision)

+ Experience in leading supply chain transformations and driving technological advancements

+ Strong project management and vendor management experience

+ 3 – 5 proven experience in supply chain management

+ 2+ years managing supply chain, vendor management or leading operational groups

+ 2+ years managing a team of direct reports

+ Proven track record of managing teams and driving change
