Join Accenture’s dynamic Global Assistance and Protection (GAP) team as the Associate Director of Facility Security Design and Guarding, responsible for the oversight of guard management activities and physical security design and implementation for diverse workplace locations worldwide. Collaborate with Accenture’s workplace teams, security integrators and corporate real estate to ensure the safety and well-being of our global workforce by developing proactive security strategies, quality control measures, and compliance with standardized procedures. Develop and drive operational consistency in core physical security technology programs and processes to ensure dependable and consistent systems across geographies. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining up-to-date security standards and benchmarking to ensure best-in-class practices.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee the team lead of regional security project coordinators responsible for the design and implementation of security systems in new buildings

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, minimize risk, and leverage technology for decision making around guard usage and duties

+ Use physical security principles, including Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED), to implement resilient, secure, and cost-effective designs

+ Support the global guard coordinator in setting requirements and audit processes

+ Collaborate and partner with workplace, procurement, regional leadership and corporate security teams to drive transparent accountability and cost effective solutions

+ Ensure quality and consistency of multiple security installation projects and building risk assessments, ensuring proper risk tiering and adherence to project plans, specifications, and local requirements/laws

+ Review proposed and as-built drawings to ensure compliance with Accenture’s security design standards

+ Manage escalations and requests for exemptions based on risk environment and the type of work conducted in the space

+ Communicate a compelling and comprehensive set of outcomes to be achieved, with the presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs

+ Creatively solve and anticipate hardware supply chain delays and provide interim solutions while managing multi stakeholder feedback

+ Regularly review floorplans and offer design ideas to minimize risk to entrances and reception spaces

+ Prepare executive communications, briefings, training sessions and reports

+ Oversee the team that reviews cost/bid documents and equipment lists to ensure alignment with Accenture’s security requirements

+ Continuously update and maintain physical security standards, benchmarking against industry best practices to ensure Accenture maintains a leading-edge security posture

+ Monitor trends, identify patterns, and analyze key performance indicator metrics to provide actionable insights to GAP leadership regarding global guarding and physical security implementation

+ Support incident response teams during incidents or crises

Job Requirements:

+ Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

+ Expected travel: 25% including domestic and international travel

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Minimum of 15 years of security experience in corporate or government environment

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in overseeing global security guard operations and physical security design projects including access control and CCTV systems

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with upgrades or tie-ins of new systems with legacy systems

+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

+ Rapport and influence building skills

+ Experience with vendors and contract management

+ International experience

+ Excellent customer service

+ Ability to learn quickly and to multitask; be adaptable and flexible

+ Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, while paying strict attention to detail

+ Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills

+ Must be able to work with and protect highly confidential information

+ Strong decision-making ability during emergencies

+ Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, change management

+ Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and cross-regional teams to drive collaboration and strategic outcomes for business

+ Ability to analyze operational data and summarize for leadership to make informed decisions

+ Comfortable with ambiguity with ability to drive towards clarity for positive impact

+ Ability to effectively communicate complex systems issues to a non-technical audience

+ Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Office 365)

+ ASIS, CPP and or PSP certification

+ Fluency in other languages

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
