The Talent Management Lead develops, implements, and evaluates employee development plans and programs to support organizational needs in a combination of disciplines such as management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or nontechnical training, or e-learning. The Talent Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Succession Management/Talent Management Lead is responsible for the strategy, implementation and continuous improvement of Humana’s enterprise talent review and succession management processes. This role is responsible for the enterprise approach to identifying, selecting, and developing key high potential associates and new hires to assume critical roles and prepare the organization for the future.

Responsibilities

+ Owns the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of key talent initiatives to continually advance Humana’s talent and succession practices

+ Leads cross-functional teams across HR to design and execute talent and succession management initiatives.

+ Creates and delivers executive level presentations for senior leaders and Management Team

+ Creates documentation and facilitates training for talent processes to make easily scalable enterprise-wide for associates and leaders

+ Monitors leadership development, assesses needs and results to modify existing programs or develop new programs

+ Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) to ensure the organization is developing talent for future

+ Research best practice and industry trends to inform perspectives on Humana’s talent practices

+ Create and leverage data dashboards to help inform current state of talent and areas of opportunity

+ Automate and optimize talent practices via HR Technology like Workday

Required Qualifications

+ 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives

+ 3+ years of leadership development, succession planning, and industry leading practices

+ 3+ years of experience working with and presenting complex concepts to executive leadership

+ 3+ years of project management experience with strong attention to detail

+ Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with other members

+ Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

+ Demonstrated experience with all Microsoft platforms

+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving associate experiences

+ If selected for hire and you live within proximity to the Louisville, KY office. This role would be considered hybrid based on business discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree human resources or 5+ years of experience in Talent Management

+ 2+ years of corporate strategy experience

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$102,200 – $140,700 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
