Insight Global is looking for an accomplished CPA with experience in complex tax services and accounting to join the team at a respected global accounting firm as Branch Manager and be mentored by the Regional Manager/Interim Branch Manager. As the Branch Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations and developments of our office, and work closely with the location’s team to review financial statements from our accounting services, review/prepare individual and business taxes returns, and provide consulting services to our clients on various aspects of their business affairs.
The CPA is responsible for all branch activities, including but not limited to:
Managing the office’s business operations through day-to-day leadership
Providing/developing product lines and value-added services to clients
Tax (individual, trust, and business)
Payroll
Business Consulting
Accounting and Financial Reporting
Additional Financial Services
Oversee the hiring of qualified accounting professionals to join the team
Lead business development to grow and develop a robust client base
Provide timely reporting to senior leadership
Provide exceptional levels of customer service to clients
Technical leadership for business and technical advisement to client base
Work with the Regional Manager to generate an annual budget and business plan for the branch office
Will be accountable for branch P&L

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of accounting experience in a public accounting environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience (master’s in accounting or tax + experience)
5+ years of tax preparation experience (corporate, individual, and partnership)
5+ years of proven experience growing and managing a team
Proven ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex situations where limited standardization exists
Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload at a high level of efficiency, including:
Monitoring production and payroll processing
Answering technical processing and accounting questions
Client reporting
Proven business development experience with a record of generating new revenue
High proficiency in accounting and office software applications null
