Job Description
Overview:
Jefferson Wells has an immediate need for a Payroll Manager for a client of ours in the Chicago area (office is near O’Hare Airport.) This will be a 3-month contract/consulting job with the possibility of converting to a full-time permanent position directly with the client. It will be a Hybrid schedule (2-days per week on-site in the office, and other days remote work from home.) Candidates must live within commuting distance. The FTE salary range is quite generous: $115K – $130K.
Our consultants are hired as W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll. Health Benefits are also available.
Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of Experience Managing Payroll (any industry.)
- Excel – Intermediate Skill Level (using Pivot Tables.)
- UKG (Ultimate Kronos) payroll software experience – not required, but would be a huge plus.
