Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for supporting the growth objectives of our strategic customer segments inclusive of our Group Practice segment including Large Group Practices, Urgent Care, Community Health Centers (CHC) and corporate owned ASCs as well as the Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), also known as Health Systems. The Senior Specialist is responsible for collaborating with their manager, segment sales leaders and other stakeholders to help identify strategic objectives, develop, and execute upon marketing initiatives that drive the business plan growth priorities. The Senior Specialist works closely with their manager and segment leaders to understand business objectives as well as customer insights to position medical capabilities in various formats to effectively influence target audiences.

The Senior Specialist helps deliver tailored value propositions and supports campaigns to our group providers. The Senior Specialist creates compelling narratives in partnership with key stakeholders across the enterprise to maximize impact within the evolving healthcare landscape; not only developing and executing but assuring message alignment and fluency internally through engagement with sales and other relevant teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports the marketing planning process for the applicable segments including helping to develop and further execute clear objectives with tactics specified to shape near and long-term customer segment direction and market expansion. This includes helping to shape the go-to-market strategy around communicating the segment specific value proposition.
Lead asset development, campaign management and execution of campaign efforts to reach prospects and gain market share. Helps develop campaigns by reviewing current customer data and analytics to find service, solutions and/or MELP product opportunities and/or gap areas to drive organic growth.
Works in cross-collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders (ranging from marketing, sales, product, data, and operational teams to agency and/or supplier partners) to drive yearly business goals and strategic initiatives specific to the segment. Ensuring timeline alignment, monitoring KPIs/ metrics, reviewing, and adjusting tactical plans as needed for greater outcome success.
Works with relevant stakeholders including customers in thought leadership, roundtable discussions, ideation sessions to ensure capture of their insights, and/or to garner testimonial related information.
Engages in use of marketing and sales operational platforms to manage lead generation campaign effectiveness. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and recommend optimizations.
Work together with manager and sales team where applicable to monitor competitive intelligence and competitor activities, and make appropriate recommendations, as needed.
Supports account-based marketing plans through a data-driven and relationship-based due diligence supported by our marketing and sales counterparts.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Strong, proven understanding of developing marketing plans, tactical plans, market trends, competitive analysis, and market penetration strategy.
Ability to develop and execute on specific objectives in timely manner.
Ability to understand data points and translate into actionable information.
Demonstrated problem solving capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage senior stakeholders including executive, marketing and sales colleagues and partners in achieving common goals.
Knowledge of customer relationship management, marketing automation and business intelligence platforms is preferred.
Specific tools include Marketo, Salesforce, and Power BI
Experience in medical industry and/or medical supply distribution preferred.
