Job Description
This Behavioral Research Assistant would be working for the Foster Health Lab. The Lab's mission is to improve the health of children with medical complexity and disability, while reducing health-care related stress for their families. The lab strives for a future where:

K.S.A.'s:
High School diploma or GED required. Some college or Associate's degree in related field preferred.
Prior experience in behavioral program or research study administration preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of individuals.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Job Duties:
Performs administrative tasks to support investigators and research team (copying, filing, etc.).
Assists with study start-up and the preparation and maintenance of all regulatory documents required by sponsor, foundation, and/or regulatory agencies.
Notifies research support services in advance of study visits.
Prepares supplies for study visits (consent forms, data collection forms, etc.).
Assists in the collection of data as appropriately trained/authorized.
Assists with data entry and management/updates of a database.
Assists in the distribution of completed consent forms, which may include ensuring participants are given a copy of a signed consent documents.
May escort participants to ancillary testing, procedures, etc.
Provides assistance in the conduct of external sponsor meetings or site visits.
Identifies and recruits potential participants and screens them for eligibility according to the research protocol/plan.
Participates in continuing education (i.e. meetings, seminars and other activities) as deemed appropriate.
Respects participant rights and protects the confidentiality of participant and center information.
Interacts with other departments within the hospital and entities outside of the hospital to coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, etc.
Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers, and others.
All activities conducted with a high level of supervision.
