Job Overview

Work with Regional EHS Manager to promote a zero harm mentality at the facility, resulting in an incident-free workplace.
Schedule truck runs in an efficient manner to meet customer needs and comply with DOT regulations.
Ensure that sales and warehouse transactions are properly documented and submitted.
Work with Sales and Service to identify customer needs and meet those needs in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide day to day guidance and direction to the workforce, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed in all areas.
Work with Americas Warehouse Manager to develop and manage facility budgets.

Key Job Responsibilities

Plan, and implement daily delivery schedules to meet the customer requirements.
Schedule the work force to comply with all Federal, State and local requirements in addition to internal policies and procedures.
Administer performance review program and track and submit both planning and performance evaluations on a timely basis.
Train employees on warehouse processes including packaging of material, pallets, cartons, and other handling/shipping procedures.
Maintain material handling equipment including trucks, forklifts, cranes, etc. to ensure lowest cost possible and extended lifecycles.
Handle all local purchasing for consumables in coordination withstrategic sourcing program.
Coordinate emergency truck runs - work with vendors on "hot shots" maximizing profit in these areas.
Maintain truck driving records and work with DOT vendors to ensure proper accident reporting, maintenance of logs, physicals and other requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

The incumbent must have a High School degree with 4-5 years of previous experience in a warehouse environment. A four-year technical degree is preferred. Must be familiar with and have a working knowledge of the safe operation of all the equipment used in the warehouse operations including but not limited to cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment. Supervisor and /or management skills are essential. Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required. A working knowledge of the mining industry is desirable.
