Job Summary:
As an EVS Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by creating and maintaining a comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals
Assist with training and developing team members
Perform outdoor deep cleaning tasks and special outdoor cleaning projects as assigned
Remove trash and debris from front and back of house areas as well as outside areas
Ensure all signs, posts, and chain fences are straight and secure, and follow department guidelines to appropriately and timely report any repairs as needed
Maintain and report any malfunction of machinery and equipment as needed
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when required
Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members
Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
High school or equivalent is required
Must have two years of experience in building and grounds maintenance or outdoor EVS experience
Must have familiarity with OSHA standards
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be reliable
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 pounds
Frequently required to reach overhead
Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time
Work Environment:
You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
