About The Position
The Senior Manager, Clean Energy Transition, Electrification and Strategic Partnerships, as part of the Clean Energy Transition team, is responsible for leading the research, development, and execution of Ameren Illinois' strategies to support the clean energy transition and customer satisfaction through electrification, increase electric energy sales and create new or expand existing revenue generating partnerships, products, and services. This leader at Ameren will deliver major strategic impact by delivering solutions that supports resiliency, growth and strength in our diverse cities and communities.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead a team responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of mutually beneficial electrification programs, consistent with approved beneficial electrification plans approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission.
Lead a team specifically focused on program management, program outreach, interconnection, policy and regulatory, while assisting with ongoing and future pilots and innovations related to beneficial electrification.
Identify electrification risks and growth opportunities, develop business cases and actionable business strategies, and align the relevant organizations around the recommended strategies.
Elevate diverse voices, fresh perspectives, and bold thinking to direct the development of actionable multi-year beneficial electrification plan, including new business cases and business strategies related to growth opportunities in the Company's electrification program.
Lead the process to shape, integrate, and optimize electrification goals through the development and prioritization of strategic initiatives for each calendar year. Synthesize insights, analysis, and recommendations that can be presented to leadership.
Partner with Clean Energy Transition peers and other internal organizations (e.g., Ameren Illinois Rates & Regulatory, Government Relations, Customer Satisfaction, Economic Development, Communication and Operations, and Ameren Corporate Innovation & Planning) to drive alignment on clean energy strategy related to BE and key goals and objectives.
Initiate and lead engagement with state and national committees, research groups, trade organizations related to electrification, such as EPRI, Alliance for Transportation Electrification, EEI, EIP, MDNR, AGA, etc. as a strategic representative of Ameren Illinois. Lead efforts to establish strategic partnerships with industry leaders and organizations to deliver significant impact.
Provide team leadership and focus to advance Ameren's overall vision and mission.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university is required. Master's and/or MBA preferred. Ten or more years of relevant experience in product management, business management, program management, or data analytics is required. Experience in the utility business is required. Five or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership are required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience in regulated and/or market driven utility programs (e.g., energy efficiency, electrification).
Experience developing and presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership.
Experience with financial analysis and familiarity with utility financials.
Proven ability to motivate and inspire teams of leaders and professionals for outstanding performance.
