Job Description

Working closely with the SVP of Talent Management & Inclusion, R1’s Inclusion & Diversity Council, and other key stakeholders across HR and the broader company, the R1 Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Manager will manage and evolve our I&D strategy and associated programs to ensure we grow and sustain our efforts into the future. Through collaboration with other HR functions and broader R1 functions, the I&D manager is also responsible for driving trainings, initiatives, and partnerships as they relate to advancing the overall R1 I&D strategy. They will help ensure we attract, develop, and retain diverse talent while creating an environment of inclusion where everyone can reach their full potential and bring their true self to work. Through partnerships with business leaders and HR, the Program Manager will work to ensure we embed I&D into our culture and day-to-day operations.

The responsibilities of this role include:

+ Manage the Diversity Council to design, execute and maintain R1’s I&D strategy to support and elevate inclusion in R1.

+ Lead the development and launch of various I&D programs and projects and provide ongoing support.

+ Manage, review and communicate I&D metrics, scorecards, and targets to monitor progress made on I&D goals.

+ Provide strategic guidance and oversight toR1’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG), ensuring they are working effectively and contributing and supporting R1s strategies and goals. Create guidelines, templates, and best practices and facilitate opportunities for cross-ERGcollaboration.

+ Maintain and provide oversight and updates to an I&D Champion network.

+ Consult and work with business and HR leaders on implementing our I&D strategy across various HR functions and areas of our businessto ensure that I&D is embedded inour day to day operations, policies, and procedures.

+ Prepare and deliver I&D presentations, trainings, and communications.

+ Manage externalrelationships to ensure we are partnering with organizations that can help us further our I&D strategy and initiatives.

+ Researchand advise on I&D best practices to inform our I&D strategy and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and create a more inclusive environment.

+ Represent R1 at I&D networking, educational, and recruiting events and respond to industry surveys.

+ Manage theI&D budget encompassing internal and external expenditures and evaluate return on investment.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 3+ years related experiencerequired; experience building or managing I&D, HR, organizational development or learning and development programs preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ Strong project management skills; able to lead initiatives and programs across an organization and within teams

+ Strong ability to analyze data to provide insights and plan actions based upon data analysis; experience tracking effectively tracking and managing key performance measures

+ Effective communicator at all levels both verbally and in writing including to large groups; can succinctly communicate to achieve desired outcome

+ Understanding and awareness of inclusion and diversity issues and best practices

+ Able to work with people at all levels of the organization, lead with influence, and work effectively in a cooperative manner to accomplish goals

+ Works well under pressure and adapts to changing priorities; navigates ambiguity and able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and manage multiple priorities from multiple stakeholders

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products

+ Work location isremote with travel as needed

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $45,000.00 – $99,991.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
