The Opportunity:

This is a high exposure role expected to produce exceptional levels of excellence and support successful Global Projects at the department or division level.

This role drives project portfolio reviews to help ensure the positive outcome of 500 enterprise-wide Infrastructure projects annually using proven leadership skills, the ability to lead meetings and to communicate a course of action. Also coordinates Infrastructure project activities adjusting to changing priorities and should be competent in Organizational Change Management and executive communications. Will help facilitate the annual planning process for IS Leadership, coordinate the development of business cases for the capital planning process, and create projects in PowerSteering adhering to ePMO and Finance deadlines. In coordination with the PMO Manager, promotes the smooth transition of all Technical Project Manager (TPM) new hires by managing the initial onboarding activities, effectively coaching/mentoring TPMs toward job success, and preserving an environment that encourages cooperation, open communication, and teamwork.

This role also supports the Strategy and Architecture team with multiple deliverables, including but not limited to, coordination of the Infrastructure Key Initiatives deck, collaboration with IS Senior Leadership, and strategy articulation across all Infrastructure towers. Will also facilitate the weekly Infrastructure Architecture Review board meetings, taking meeting notes and tracking action items.

What You’ll Work On:

+ Facilitate adherence to PM Processes and establish group-specific PM Processes when needed.

+ Conduct Health checks for internal Projects and ensure lessons learned activities are conducted when applicable.

+ Work with Business Office to ensure project financial tracking is accurate for Monthly LBEs

+ Triage and assign incoming divisional demand based on assessment of resource capacity.

+ Monitor Financial PM Time Tracking to ensure PMs are billable.

+ Serve as primary IS contact for Divisional BRMs and IT Service Managers

+ Strengthen group’s PM Capabilities by providing project management consultation and mentorship.

+ Track and promote adherence to Tech Debt remediation commitments.

+ Lead annual planning process including project, financial and prioritization reviews.

+ Coordinate, plan and facilitate monthly Project Portfolio Review meetings for IS Leadership Team

+ Synch IS Portfolio data with monthly IT SL reporting using PowerBI / Power Steering and ensure best possible data quality.

+ Perform weekly Project Data Monitoring to drive compliance.

+ Onboard and train new Technical Project Managers

+ Help ensure proper OCM Readiness and communication expectations are met before project delivery.

+ Assist OCM team when needed with project execution.

+ Support Network Manufacturing Segmentation project

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

At least 6-10 yrs. experience in managing IT projects (preferably Infrastructure) on an enterprise and/or global scale.

The following experience / skills are strongly preferred:

+ Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

+ Strong executive presence to present at monthly portfolio review meetings with Sr. Leaders

+ Ability to drive results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls, and monitoring processes.

+ Proven negotiation and influencing skills.

+ Strong collaboration and partnering skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.

+ Ability to design and optimize processes.

+ Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action.

+ Experience with indirect management – managing by influence as opposed to positional authority.

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment.

+ Strong understanding of project management methodology, software development life cycle phases, and software development methodologies.

+ Ability to work within a diverse, performance-based team environment.

+ Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead meetings and communicate course of action.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ PowerBI skills – creating, supporting, and using/navigating reports.

+ Project – OCM execution skills

+ Experience working with 3rd party suppliers.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
