Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Associate will be responsible for assisting with digital forensics, e-Discovery, cyber security, and data analytics projects resulting from the identification, collection, analysis, and processing of ESI.

Job Duties:
Develops technical work plans and preliminary budgets
Defensibly collects data from a wide range of data sources including desktop/laptop computers, tablets/smartphones, network sources of varied operating systems, flash media and other external USB sources
Conducts e-Discovery preprocessing analysis related to the categorization and summarization of large sets of ESI
Conducts detailed analysis tasks in a distributed team environment
Summarizes analysis results in a comprehensive and defensible manner
Interacts with client legal and IT team members
Assists the team with developing new and innovative forensic processes and procedures
Manages digital forensics lab evidence intake, maintenance, and patching
Uses and follows existing evidence management systems and policies
Conducts detailed chain of custody evidence transfer and intake
Assists in varying capacities with digital forensics, incident response, e-discovery, and data analytics projects
Creates draft affidavits, declarations, and forensic reports of findings
Conducts quality control peer reviews of teamwork product
Travels domestically and internationally, often with little notice

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's degree required, Computer Science or Information Technology focus, preferred
MBA or other relevant advanced degree, preferred
Experience:
Two (2) or more years of, eDiscovery project and/or related experience, required
Prior consulting, military or law enforcement experience, preferred
License/Certifications:
Relativity and/or other relevant certification, preferred
Any certification in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, preferred
Software:
Prior experience in a professional context using RelativityOne and/or other related industry software
Language:
Spanish and/or Asian language fluency (read, speak and/or write), preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and basic research skills related to the retrieval and organization of high volumes of information
Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
Advocate of continuous learning, many times through self-study
Ability to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
Executive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Colorado Range: $90,000 - $100,000
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $90,000 - $100,000
Washington Range: $90,000 - $100,000
