What you'll be doing
Designs and develops the Global Commercial Product Stability program to ensure business goals and industry leadership. Responsible for a lab that performs stability testing for several products manufactured in the Americas.
Responsible for the Particle Laboratory and it's strategy and activities.
Responsible for oversight of chemistry and microbiology laboratory harmonization of the laboratory's designs, qualification of personnel, and testing requirements in compliance with Baxter and Regulatory requirements.
Management of team members who may perform microbiological validations for products and processes.
Proactively identify and escalate opportunities for risk reduction and continuous improvement.
Provide coaching to other functions/sites in using problem solving structured approach during laboratory investigations.
Manages overall coaching, training, development, and succession plans for the team
What you'll bring
Significant experience (10+ years) in Quality, Regulatory, and/or Manufacturing. 7+ years of management experience.
Technical experience in drug, biologics, and medical device industry.
A degree in a life science discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience working in a laboratory or managed laboratory operations
Experience leading a large Quality or Regulatory organization; strong ability to motivate and lead a diverse team with varying levels of experience while also collaborating with colleagues across the globe.
Proven leadership ability with a track record of making difficult decisions in a logical, rational manner.
Demonstrated ability to work as a leader. Strong communication skills are essential.
