Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Midstream Program Intern will have a wonderful opportunity to see several sides of the energy consulting industry, including data management, software development, and project management. In this day-to-day program support role, you will add value to the team in a variety of ways: you will facilitate easier data analysis and review by ensuring data meets quality and consistency requirements; help define standards for implementation and data use affecting both the software and energy project management practices; and ensure programs in the Energy Efficiency department follow midstream best practices.
A day in the life of this role:
Translate energy efficiency and software concepts into documentation for nontechnical uses working with Energy Solutions' proprietary software systems.
Support data standardization projects on those proprietary software systems.
Assist with program operations including claim processing and midstream program implementation work.

To enable you for success, we are seeking candidates with these qualifications:
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Technical troubleshooting experience.
Documentation experience a plus but not required.
Knowledge of any coding language (e.g. Python, R) or query language (e.g. SQL) is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
Undergraduate student: $21/hr
Graduate student: $24/hr
