Senior IT Quality Analyst guides team how to drive quality for all size of projects across the software platform and business function. The incumbent is a self-starting individual with an aptitude for quality testing across major product, project, and programs by providing the appropriate test strategy and performance of test execution in a timely manner. The incumbent has a clear understanding of the business processes and acts as a trusted advisor by being the primary QA Lead and point of contact for testing, verification and validation for the project team. This role will focus and engage with subject matter experts to facilitate QA deliverables like test planning, test execution status reporting, root cause analysis and defect triaging, requirement traceability matrix and other on demand test deliverables.
The incumbent help define the QA framework and understand defect root cause and communicate mitigation plans to stakeholders. They utilize their business expertise to know how major products are used in the organization and their multiple integration points, which enables them to understand the entire application landscape. They provide guidance, QA best practices and testing subject matter expertise to other Quality Analysts in the business function.

Major Responsibilities:
Creates test strategy for various test phases functional test, integration test, regression test & UAT.
Leads business requirement session from a QA perspective; Actively participate in workshops with IT business analysts and other stakeholders during the requirements and software design phases
Analyze and evaluate requirements for completeness and feasibility; estimate scope of work for the project life cycle and translate it to test design
Create QA plan and get it approved with project stakeholders.
Design & execute and help execute test cases; Coordinates and leads UAT and get the UAT signoff, perform defect triage calls with project team as needed
Provide test execution plan to project manager
Responsible for ensuring all testing deliverables are completed in accordance with Project Management methodology; clearly and frequently communicates the status of testing
Prepare the test metrics report and communicates to project stakeholders
Work as a team to complete any unplanned testing requests
