Salary: The expected pay rate for this position is $80,000-$90,000.00 per year. The actual pay rate offered may vary on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications and/or location.

Additional Incentives
$5,000 sign on bonus. The bonus is contingent upon successfully completing specified periods of employment, along with satisfactory performance and adherence to company policies. The details of the payout are as follows:
$3,000 will be paid out after a 90-day trial period.
The remaining $2,000 will be paid after 6 months of continuous employment.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant at AES takes a leading role in supporting accounting functions, focusing on the AES Sales and Service Offices. Responsibilities include active participation in month-end financial close, preparation of financial statements, and providing insightful analysis for decision-making. This role demands a solid accounting foundation, proficiency in extracting and analyzing data from various sources, acute attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines. The Senior Accountant collaborates with the leadership team in AES and reports directly to the AES Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Other duties may be assigned and are not limited to the following)
Monthly reporting and analysis (P&L and balance sheet), covering sales, margin, and indirect costs
Analysis to facilitate the creation of monthly financial statements
Submission of completed financial statements to the consolidation system
Detailed account reconciliations
Contribution to the annual budget and periodic forecasts
Key user in the ERP system (EAM, Kyriba and SunSystems)
Assistance in semi-annual financial audits
Building relationships with leadership across the US to enhance workflow and ensure accurate accounting treatment
Identification of process improvements and recommendations for system, process, and performance enhancements
Other assignments as directed by the respective manager(s)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or as an accountant in an industrial division within the business-to-business sector
Experience with ERP systems (Infor preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Outlook
Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
