We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Lab Test Technician to support sensor product testing in agency certification test labs. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful certification of our sensor products by preparing lab setups, executing test procedures, and documenting test results accurately and thoroughly. JOB DUTIES:

  • Prepare lab setups and equipment for sensor product testing in agency certification test labs, ensuring all necessary tools, instruments, and resources are available.
  • Collaborate with engineers and test supervisors to understand test requirements, procedures and protocols, ensuring adherence to testing standards and regulations.
  • Execute test procedures on sensor products according to established protocols, documenting test results, observations, and any deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Conduct functional tests, performance tests, and reliability tests on sensor products, following test plans and test cases provided by engineering teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues or anomalies observed during testing, conducting root cause analysis and proposing solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test logs, ensuring traceability and compliance with testing standards.
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of sensor products and test setups, following assembly instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment and instruments, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test measurements.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule as needed.


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a lab test technician, preferably in an agency certification test lab or product testing environment.
  • Strong technical skills in setting up and operating test equipment and instruments, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and data acquisition systems. (Basic soldering experience and understanding of electronic circuitry is a plus.)
