Job Description
As our Global Equipment and Solutions Plant Manager, you will lead a team of 25 associates in the manufacturing and shipment of Chemical Test Solution Kits and Equipment. Following TPM framework, continue the sites TPM journey to Silver, transforming the process safety culture and standards of the plant, support continuous improvement of the production lines, and support, develop, and train your team of professionals. This role requires excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
Take an active role in all aspects of safety and quality, with responsibility for the entire site
Train, support, and develop your team in chemical manufacturing design standards, technical solutions, process safety and provide strong customer service,
Responsible for a $3.2M annualized expense budget along with $150K of capital projects to improve the plant operations
Manage monthly costs, absorption and month-over-month accruals as needed
Be an integral member of the Equipment Plant leadership team guiding strategic direction and being a great team member who leads by example
Continue driving TPM, with goal set on Silver Certification
Make decisions and sets priorities tied to the plant, division, and company priorities, following the corporate Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures
Follow company standards (Ecolab Code of Conduct) and plant work rules
Model operational excellence, visibly demonstrating leadership and change management
Drive process safety, with Goal Zero mindset
Maintain a high DIOFT percentage with on time deliveries
Manage monthly budget, staying at or below plan
Proactively identify opportunities and threats in the business environment and articulate those to leadership, developing countermeasures accordingly
As a leader you will train, coach and mentor your team
Develop value added solutions with significant reach and/or impact
Proactively resolve conflict to maintain team members' focus on results
Make decisions and set priorities tied to plant goals and strategies
Be strategic and a visionary, being able to lead people and problem solve production and QA related issues
Ability to work closely with OBL's and marketers supporting growth opportunities globally
Create a monthly Clearing OGSM and combined with their team present to Director/VP level.
Assist in the training of your Production, Warehouse and QA Lab team leaders
Responsible for maintaining strong work culture of entire plant
Successfully complete safety and ergonomic training along with classroom, computer-based training as required
Build working relationships with Safety, Planning, R&D, Marketing, HR, Finance and Quality
Proactively resolve conflict to maintain the plants focus on results
Develop relationships across geographical and functional boundaries, including support of shipments to CA, EU and AP
Work closely with Regulatory on Export shipment paperwork requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 7 years of Supply Chain experience
Prior people leadership experience
Excellent communication skills
Worked in a production environment

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry related, or Supply Chain
Advanced degree a plus
