HOSPITAL MEDICINCE: Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

Position Highlights:
Position:Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) - Division of Hospital Medicine
Location:Swedish and NorthShore Hospital, Chicago, IL
Full Time/Part Time:Per Diem

Our Advanced Practice Providers are integral members of a multidisciplinary medical group. The Advance Practice Provider performs comprehensive care in the inpatient setting. Working in a collaborative environment, the team consults with referring providers, nurses, and outpatient clinics.

What you will need:
License:Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant Licensure (PA) in the State of IL required;FederalDEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
Certification:BLS/CPR certification required
Experience:Prior APN/PA experience in Adult Medicine, ER, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist Medicine preferred.

What you will do:
Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
Provide patient educationto promote wellness and prevent illness and injury for individuals, families, and communities.
Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
