Job Description
Senior Manager, International Tax Services (Multiple Positions), PwC US Tax LLP, Chicago, IL. Assist clients with addressing their cross-border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates, finding areas of cost reduction, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. Lead teams with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs. Demonstrate in-depth expertise of tax issues stemming from changes to business structures. Advise clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. Supervise and coach teams.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Law, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.
Must have an active CPA or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent, or be an Active Member of the Bar.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Leading international tax and corporate restructuring engagements across a variety of sectors;
- Managing business restructuring projects, complex tax compliance projects, calculation and modeling international tax attributes for multinational companies;
- Advising clients on the development of international tax policy and procedures, tax compliance automation design and implementation, tax risks diagnostics and benchmarking studies; and,
- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections.
80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% is required.
