Job Description
*Role is hybrid. Requires a minimum of 3 days/week onsite - either Oshkosh, WI HQ or Deerfield, IL HQ

As Marketing Product Manager, you will be responsible for the success of a Product Group portfolio of primary packaging. As the global leader in packaging, the Marketing Product Manager will support the North American Sales team recommending packaging solutions to drive new business pipeline. This individual will work closely with Marketing Management and Pricing Teams to establish market pricing for their assigned product category and will develop competitive intelligence in the industry, identify product line gaps and coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Operations and R&D to develop new and innovative products in the multi-generational product plan to grow Amcor's market leadership position.

This individual will report to the Director of Marketing Product Management and develop product category tactical marketing plans to identify attractive growth segments, key customer positions and winning value propositions to drive sustainable, profitable growth for their respective product categories. Marketing Product Managers are results-based and focused on growth and will review performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual cadence to communicate their performance to plan.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Develop and execute product life cycle plans to manage the product portfolio, and position the products within the portfolio by feature, benefits, and price
Collaborate with key stakeholders, Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain, to select raw material suppliers and manage raw material change with customers and at sites
Support programs with Segment Marketing/Segment BG to enter new market segments in a cross-product line manner to deliver to the Sales teams efficient product launch packages
Partner with R&D to drive product development: new products, new services, and new service models
Recommend new product/business allocation to the optimal Amcor manufacturing sites in cooperation with Product Management
Recommend and support manufacturing improvement and change management plans together with the Business Units (incl. CI, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Central Product Management)
Identify opportunities to improve on profitability metrics by identifying and proposing options for MtD opportunities aligned with Amcor's Value Plus agenda

Drive New Business Pipeline
Manage and drive product line sales and profitability with Tactical Marketing support
Ownership of market pricing strategy for respective product categories and define and coordinate pricing policies with Pricing Team to drive profitable growth and gain market share
