The Global Regulatory Affairs Office (GRAO) is responsible for overseeing the enhancement of our risk management and controls, remediation of regulatory and audit findings and the administration of regulatory affairs, including establishing a centralized and sustainable connection point for global regulatory communications, ensuring preparedness for examinations.

This Program Manager, Governance role reports to the GRAO Program Management Office (PMO) that is responsible for day-to-day enablement of the GRAO strategy. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager, Governance is to lead the PMO in providing continuity across the various programs and projects that execute the GRAO strategy. The role holder will require the ability to lead teams in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and exercise good judgment in a variety of situations. The Program Manager, Governance must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and attention to detail.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Responsible to lead and operationalize the day-to-day oversight of PMO routines for committee governance requirements
  • Responsible to lead the timely development, coordination and packaging of program governance materials and ad-hoc materials
  • Responsible to facilitate standing PMO meetings, drive discussions and reach decisions
  • Develop and maintain PMO governance standards, procedures and playbook
  • Ability to communicate effectively to ensure there is a clear and concise understanding of expectations
  • I dentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity in the PMO
  • Set the tone for PMO to be flexible and agile to pivot to new and/or changing program priorities
  • Ability to work with multiple partners in cross-functional groups at various levels throughout the organization
  • Timely escalate and relentlessly pursue resolution of any roadblocks with a clear, end-to-end ownership mindset.
  • Drive prioritization ensuring PMO handles multiple governance projects with accuracy
  • Review and oversee PMO governance work products, providing feedback and effective challenge



The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • A College or University degree and relevant program management and governance leadership experience with industry knowledge is required (financial risk, non-financial risk, regulatory and/or compliance)
  • Deep understanding of project management and portfolio management tools, techniques and methods (i.e., what good looks like), change management principles and how to build high-performing teams
  • Technical skills: Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Office 365 suite required (expert with Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe)
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills are required
