Overview:

The Technology Refresh and Estate Management program governs EOL Lifecycle across all asset classes for Northern Trust. This business analyst will create and maintain requirements for all in scope EOL asset classes. This role will identify and plan the remediation of assets ensuring that EOL / EOS capabilities are being correctly remediated. This resource must have prior experience in defining requirements within risk, audit, and regulatory functions. This role will report through the Enterprise Architecture organization and report directly in the Technology Refresh and Estate Management program.

Major Duties :

1. Facilitates discussions with different business and technology teams to create business and process driven documentation

2. Works with the EOL director, project managers, data analysts, and other team members to define requirements that align data needs to requirements and metrics 3. Interacts with partners to determine business automation needs. Provides business unit partners with ongoing systems guidance; acts as a troubleshooter

4. Reviews and analyzes existing system enhancements and recommends modifications as needed

5. Works with different asset sub class owners to define technical roadmaps for EOL Lifecycle asset planning

6. Develop documentation and coordinate reviews and updates to different risk, audit, and regulatory groups.

7. Prepares business requirements, training materials, and process driven documentation and provides training on the processes to partners as requires.

8. Prepares project phase reports, including requirements, feasibility, definition, and design.

9. Provides project support and project planning; develops test plans and user acceptance criteria. May also track bullet proofing tasks.

Knowledge:

- Knowledge of business processes, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to develop and support applications.

- Prior knowledge of developing process documentation meeting regulatory, audit, and risk requirements

- Comfortable with cloud and server technology - both terminology and upcoming trends.

- Significant experience with ADO and familiarity with the Agile process

Experience :

- A College or University degree and at least 5 years of relevant work experience is required

- At least 5 years experience working as a business analyst within Information Technology
