Strategically plans, develops, coordinates, and monitors internal , executive and social communications programs that project the desired image for the corporation and its executives and keep employees informed. Manages and creates communication messaging, content and creative execution. Counsels partners on strategies and programs to meet departmental marketing and/or communication objectives.

Role/ Department:

Plans, develops and coordinates communications campaigns and materials for financial communications and DEI initiatives. This role will focus on tracking, creating, distributing and measuring communications related to earnings and strategy, executive communications and social media, coordinating town halls and divisional events, developing editorial calendars and visual and written storytelling. Executes internal communications programs that project the desired image for the corporation and keep employees informed. Acts as the liaison to the chief financial officer and finance leadership team. Has exceptional organizational, writing and PowerPoint skills and is knowledgeable on digital communications channels, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other related channels.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Participates in the planning, development and coordination of internal communication programs for large scale finance or DEI related initiatives for all employees.
  • Supports divisional or targeted communications for finance.
  • Creates written and visual content to support campaigns such as leadership memos, videos, infographics, digital newsletters, and internal articles.
  • Counsels partners on strategies and programs to meet departmental objectives.
  • Helps to execute thought leadership platforms on behalf of the chief financial officer.
  • Coordinates and manages quarterly Town Halls and monthly leadership messages.
  • Interacts with all levels in the organization to produce desired materials.
  • May act as a mentor to junior level partners
  • Ensures consistency of messages and brand through all communications globally.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 7 or more years of experience
  • Is a technical expert with in-depth knowledge in the area of marketing communications and internal communications usually acquired through formal education in journalism or advertising.
  • Requires strong analytical ability, excellent written and PowerPoint skills, strong judgment and communication skills, technologically savvy and the ability to work effectively with clients and management and staff.
