Major Duties :

Assigns tasks to the team. Organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activity, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work Provides in depth consulting on procedures and training to the team with high technical proficiency as a subject matter expert Drafts, completes, or assists with regulatory filings (i.e. registration statements, financial reports, proxy materials, Forms N-CSR, N-CEN, N-CR, N-PX and 24f-2, etc.) Provides board support (i.e. drafting agendas, notices, resolutions and planning and preparation for meetings) Onboards new clients and other matters when circumstances dictate Acts as point of contact for regulatory examinations and internal and external audits of fund governance related topics Provides input into the performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work Provides input and support to budget management process Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems Impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the department Designs policies and procedures for the team Interacts with, builds, and enhances client relationships

Knowledge :

1. Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

3. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing tasks that require the highest level of attention to detail and accuracy

4. Ability to establish good working relationships with clients, members of Boards of Trustees, Fund counsel, chief compliance officers, auditors and financial printers

5. Knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, is required

6. Excellent organizational and project management skills are required

7. Analytical and problem-solving skills are required

8. Familiarity with various investment styles, asset classes, strategies for achieving performance goals, benchmarks and investment related terminology Knowledge of mutual fund operations is preferred

9. Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change.

10. Applies operational business practices and coordinates with other closely related areas to improve efficiency

11. Explains information, conveys performance expectations and handles sensitive issues

Experience :

A College or University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field and/or relevant proven work experience is required A JD is preferred but not required A minimum of 5 years of experience working for a mutual fund organization (adviser or otherwise), a mutual fund administrator or service provider, the investment...
