Title: Sr. Principal, Sw Eng Omnium
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the IT industry with hands-on development experience in building high-performing, resilient, Enterprise software solutions
- Significant development experience, working within an agile environment and using modern engineering practices and work closely with development teams across geographical locations
- Participate in technical and functional design of solutions for our business partners and stakeholders in the Managed Solutions and Strategies as well as Discretionary Products business areas
- Work directly with end users on user experience design and workflows. Ensure designs are consistent with firm standards and our overall application suite.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy to understand manner
- Provide Level 3 support when necessary.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong proficiency in C++ , multi-thread server development in LINUX
- Architecture and design approaches that support for scalable, high performance system.
- Experience in the REST principles and associated technologies
- Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Perl, Python script language.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA/Azure DevOps)
- SCM & Build tools (GitHub, bamboo)
- Experience with Cloud services is a plus
- Experience with Financial Services environment in general is a plus
