Job Description

Major Duties :

Collaborate with technology partners to help manage and monitor all active Technology engagements at the bank.

Align with Third Party Risk Management and Technology partners to ensure the Technology group is meeting bank standards for Third Party Risk (ongoing monitoring, accurate assessments, vendor escalations, etc)

Serve as escalation point for IT Third-Party issues.

Act as deputy for the IT Third-Party Risk Business Unit Lead.

Responsible for assisting with onboarding new engagements as well as escalating change approvals when appropriate.

Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of Third Party Risk Management and can communicate Risk requirements to partners. Comfortable carrying out activities that are large in scope and cross-functional, able to drive project plans to meet regulatory and risk requirements.

Role is balanced between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of IT Third-Party Risk activities.

Responsible for direct interaction with technology partners, multiple committees and/or management.

Strategic in developing, implementing and administering Third Party Risk programs within functional areas.

Good communication skills, comfortable training partners on the overall expectations for a vendor manager at the bank and able to assist with program and project level questions.

Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required

Experience :

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
