Assist in the management of custom target date fund portfolios, including setting strategic asset allocation, evolving the glide path, rebalancing, monitoring, and reporting.
Analyze investment results and related metrics to provide a thorough understanding of the drivers of portfolio performance and characteristics.
Develop effective communications materials for internal and external stakeholders, such as the board of directors and plan participants.
Maintain a deep understanding of best practices in the 401(k) market and assist in the evaluation and determination of appropriate investment options for the Lumen Plan.
Research new investment strategies and other potential improvements to investment options.
Maintain productive relationships with investment managers, peer plans, service providers and other industry contacts.
Contribute to projects for the defined benefit pension and for the small trusts.

A deep understanding of investment theory and practice, and a drive to generate strong investment results.
Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of audiences.
A team-oriented and collegial style: i.e. the ability to work constructively with a broad variety of colleagues and contribute effectively to a team environment.
