Trustmark is currently seeking talented Applications Solution Engineers to join our IT Applications Team. This is a hybrid work arrangement position with 3 days at the office in Lake Forest, IL, and 2 days remote.

As an Applications Solution Engineer at Trustmark, you will play a pivotal role creating solutions based on conceptual design and stated business requirements that growing our success and shape our business and IT solutions. Leveraging technical knowledge and skills, business acumen, and with a mindset to communication and collaboration, you will have direct impact on our evolving IT focus and strengths.

We are looking for individuals with experience leading work that bridges between technical intricacies and business needs in one or more of the following areas:

+ Customer Service and/or Commissions

+ Enrollment/Product

+ Billing Claims

+ Front Office

+ Back Office

+ Shared Services (i.e., Finance, Workday for HR) One HR/Finance/etc.

In these value streams, Applications Solution Engineers will support:

+ Technical Requirements Gathering and Design Sessions :

+ Lead sessions with stakeholders to understand their needs related to software systems and applications (both cloud and on-premises)

+ Translate product vision into actionable requirements

+ Disseminate knowledge, technical requirements, and design documentation

+ Risk Assessment and Constraints Evaluation :

+ Identify project constraints and potential risks

+ Evaluate feasibility and implementation risks for proposed solutions

+ Ensure alignment with existing enterprise architecture frameworks and business standards

+ Innovation and Exploration :

+ Research and monitor emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools

+ Explore ways to improve development workflows and optimize technological capabilities

+ Drive the teams to scope, design, and present Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that could evolve into products.

+ Technical Leadership and Solution Design :

+ Serve as a technical resource across teams during design implementations.

+ Create solution designs based on conceptual ideas and stated business requirements.

+ Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation.

+ Strategic Alignment :

+ Participate in software design meetings, analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements

+ Ensure solutions align with both business and IT strategies

+ Collaborate with leadership to define technical roadmaps and strategies

+ Continuous Improvement :

+ Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and trends

+ Identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions

Depending on the assignment, you will also bring experience in the relevant technologies:

React, Angular, AI, MACH, Swift, Node.js, Javascript, TDD, .NET, Java, Kotlin, SQL, NoSQL, HTML, CSS, CRM technologies (salesforce, MS Dynamics)

Candidates we seek will bring 6-10+ years of relevant experience, and demonstrated strengths in technology, business acumen, problem solving, presentation of ideas and solutions and thrive in a relationship-based culture.
