Job Description:

Microchip is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time job opening in the position of a Logistics Supervisor.
This candidate should have warehouse & receiving experience. The position reports to the Manager and will be responsible for supporting planning group, overseeing receiving, inventory control, releases, test floor window deliveries and indirect receiving.

Job Requirements:
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee Planner releases daily for local and Offshore vendors.
Answer questions from test area and planning group
Oversee releases of inventory for all RT builds.
Oversee IW's, CI's, WO's, help when time permits.
Receiving for configurable bank
Help in receiving orders coming in for finished goods.
Create Cycle counts and post results. AX2009, AX2012, BaaN, Mesa
Process MESA starts, MRB's (issued and scrapped), Debit memos (wafers).
INFO holds, run each month
Manage all discrepancies in the warehouse
Meetings with management
Manage time cards for direct reports.
Process Work orders

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma.
8 years of experience or more in a warehouse environment
Computer literate and with Excel, Word
Work well in a team environment
Continuous high-volume output
Cycle counts
Receiving experience

Preferred qualifications include:
Additional education
Any other additional Warehouse experience
Background in semiconductor industry
Able to lift packages/boxes up to 40 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods
Note taking is a plus due to different processes
Start daily on time
Able to work overtime when required or asked
Driving a fork lift
