Position Summary:

TheSupply Chain Promotions Supervisoris responsible for leading and supporting the promotions team including escalation contact for internal & external system partners and support ofend-to-end communication and execution of all promotions (toys, food, games, packaging). Other areas of focus will be on ensuring department goals are met, analyzing data, implementing improvements, standardizing procedures, creating training programs, developing people, and supporting ongoing projects. The role will support the Promotions Manager, US Supply Chain in strategy creation and execution while collaborating with the other team leaders across the department.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

+ Provide leadership, mentoring, development, and coaching to promotions teams

+ Ensure department performance goals are met

+ Create a culture of innovation and data driven processes to support customer initiatives and MB strategic plans

+ Contribute to the planning/execution process with Suppliers, Customers, Distribution Center Operations, and other Supply Chain groups to collaborate on promotions, new item launches, and other activities

+ Ensure planners maintain optimal safety stock levels on Happy Meal items to ensure no breaks in supply to restaurants or large overstocks in the distribution center

+ Develop a knowledge and understanding of promotional patterns to provide oversight on execution

+ Proactively participate in identifying opportunities for process improvement & developing solutions

+ Provide oversight on potential liability, overstocks, system maintenance, and promotional planning to ensure team is executing

+ Continuously assess promotional planning for process improvements to successfully manage the complexity of the customer’s needs

+ Support and execute change management

+ Support promotions planner to drive supplier collaboration including issue escalation and resolution

+ Develop and maintain productive relationships and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

+ Work on projects assigned to support existing customers or process improvement

+ Lead weekly team meetings

+ Act as escalation contact for Promotions Planners, Distribution Centers, and system partners

+ Assist in weekend, vacation, and holiday coverage as needed

+ Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

+ Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in supply chain or related experience OR High School Diploma and 7 years of experience in supply chain or related experience

+ Proven analytical, organization, and time management skill

+ Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills

+ Strong computer skills – including proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

+ Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

+ Must be a strong team player

+ Excellent task prioritization, follow-up, and customer service skills required

+ Critical thinking skills are required to analyze data with the ability to define root cause, and corrective action

+ This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

+ Supply Chain or Procurement certification and/or experience

+ Proficiency in ERP systems (JD Edwards) and PowerBI

+ Proven mentoring, coaching, and development skills
