Job Description:

Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) provides essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. RMHC strives to be part of the solution to issues challenging families today. Families are challenged with how to stay near and support a hospitalized child; how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment; or even getting basic medical and dental care in underserved communities. We use our resources and partnerships in the community to help families gain access to healthcare services and keep families together during critical points in their children’s lives.

Principle Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, the Corporate Partnerships Specialist will serve as a key member of the Development team, with a focus on supporting the Corporate Partnerships team on activation and stewardship deliverables. This person will provide administrative and logistical support and assist in the execution of successful corporate partnerships initiatives, including financial and in-kind support, as well as employee engagement and cause marketing campaigns.

Fundraising & Relationship Building (50%):

+ Support team to develop, manage and steward existing high-profile corporate partnerships worth $4M+.

+ Provide direct support to the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Corporate Partnerships Activation Supervisor to provide administrative and logistical support to enhance cultivation, solicitation and stewardship for corporate partners and donors.

+ Serve as a secondary point of contact for corporate partners, addressing inquiries, providing support, and ensuring a positive and mutually beneficial partnership experience.

+ Support the development of the vision, strategy and overall relationship with the corporate partner, as directed by the account manager.

+ Assist with the continued development and ideation of activation materials to support partners’ marketing and employee engagement campaigns.

+ Support the execution of each individual partner cultivation/stewardship plan, working with internal colleagues and external partners on fundraising and marketing activation deliverables.

+ Serve as the frontline customer service representative for the corporate partnerships team by supporting RMHC Chapter inquires and managing the corporate partner inbox. This will include responding to all inquiries in a timely manner, conducting basic prospect research for incoming inquiries and conducting initial qualification calls as needed.

+ Coordinate and implement team operational processes for in-kind donations to benefit the RMHC system. This includes working closely with operations team and Chapters to identify budget relieving resources and distribution execution.

Project Management & Department Support (30):

+ Arrange meetings with staff, donors, prospects and others as requested by team leadership, scheduling and maintaining a calendar of appointments, meetings, and itineraries.

+ Responsible for sending donor communications including drafting and sending acknowledgment letters and stewardship touchpoints.

+ Gather, research, synthesize, and analyze data and information to prepare stewardship reports across a variety of topics that can be presented to donors. This includes the development and execution of surveys in partnership with the RMHC system.

+ Actively develop and maintain digital collateral and resources for Chapters and partners, including but not limited Annual Report, Donor Directory listings, in-kind donation resources, Chapter activation and fundraising guides.

Data Management and Prospect Research (20%):

+ Maintain database ensuring moves management, the accuracy of donor profiles, prospect information, mailing lists, and other records.

+ Research and identify prospective donors using various search methods and software to assist in the cultivation of new relationships.

+ Coordinate the execution of partnership and Chapter agreements in partnership with the RMHC Finance team and RMHC legal counsel.

+ Collaborate with the Finance and Partnerships Team to track and manage incoming partner payments as part of Partnerships contract agreements and donor invoices. This includes managing Chapter disbursements when applicable.

Qualifications:

The Corporate Partnerships Specialist must be a great teammate and possess strong interpersonal skills along with a desire to help others succeed. Key knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience

+ 2+ years of experience in non-profit preferred

+ Experience working with complex, national, or global organizations that have local affiliates preferred

+ Ability to manage complex deadlines and progress across the team to ensure various projects are delivered on time and meet the donor expectations.

+ Ability to effectively communicate and provide exceptional customer service to diverse audiences including donors, prospective donors and staff.

+ Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and oral communications skills, including the ability to make presentations, both verbal and written

+ Knowledgeable in current philanthropic trends, data and other philanthropy-focused information.

+ Ability to contribute to a strong internal culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and to be a positive team player

+ Proficiency in databases such as Salesforce, Word, Excel

+ Able and willing to travel and work a variable schedule when necessary
