Job Description

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in BURR RIDGE, Illinois. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a dynamic telecom provider environment. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, maintaining customer records, and working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate, valid, and complete information.

- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits.

- Stay up-to-date with product and service information to provide accurate assistance to customers.

- Maintain customer records by updating account information and documenting all interactions.

- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service standards and share insights with the team.

- Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and to solve any complex issues.

- Answer inbound calls and manage both inbound and outbound calls as necessary.

- Perform data entry tasks and process customer orders.

- Schedule appointments and manage email correspondence with customers.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize data. Requirements – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

- Experience in a call center customer service role

- Ability to answer inbound calls effectively and efficiently

- Strong customer service skills and commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences

- Experience with data entry tasks

- Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls

- Proven track record in email correspondence

- Familiarity with order entry systems

- Ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues in a timely manner

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Demonstrated professionalism and positive attitude in a customer service environment

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
