Job Description Summary
Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of English Studies, on an as needed basis. The Department is seeking a specialist in Rhetoric-Composition.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Teach one or more classes in the First-Year Writing Program
-Actively participate in First-Year Writing professional development
-Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary
-Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Rhetoric-Composition and experience in teaching a range of college writing courses from a process approach supported with digital composing technologies. Excellent communication skills.
