Job Summary
This position is responsible for planning and leading the execution of underwriting activities and managing the dental products of our partners/clients. Providing consultative services to the underwriting departments for these partner/clients on the technical aspects of dental products, rating and experience analysis. Supporting ongoing dental underwriting workflow of our partners/clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and 4 years of group underwriting experience in health and/or dental
OR
8 years of group underwriting experience in health and/or dental
* Leadership experience.
* Knowledge of dental products.
* Experience with rating methodologies applicable to group health products.
* Presentational skills.
* Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
* PC skills in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in math, business, or actuarial science.
