We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Engineer Project Leader to spearhead our sensor development projects. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge sensor technologies. You will be responsible for project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that our sensor products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and quality.

Job Duties

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and optimization of sensor technologies, including hardware, firmware, and software components.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, establishing clear timelines and milestones for project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Drive innovation in sensor technology through research, experimentation, and evaluation of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the development of embedded firmware for sensor interfaces, data acquisition, and signal processing, optimizing performance for accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of sensor products, analyzing performance metrics and addressing any issues or deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to integrate third-party components and technologies into sensor products as needed.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on sensor technologies and project leadership.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ for embedded systems, with experience in firmware development for microcontrollers and DSPs.
  • Deep understanding of sensor principles, including analog and digital sensor interfaces, data acquisition techniques, and signal processing algorithms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
