Job Title:Specialist, Training Development
Location:Stillwater, MN

Job Scope
This position is responsible for implementation and execution of tailored training systems to support manufacturing and peripheral groups; including the development and innovation of training programs. Implements and maintains training system controls for manufacturing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Assess training and learning needs through surveys, interviews with employees or consultations with area leaders

Apply instructional design theories and practices to create engaging and effective learning materials 

Implements and maintains training system controls 

Identifies training systems by working with Manufacturing and learning needs, researching training options, and developing and recommending most effective methods

Design and develop comprehensive training curricula tailored to the needs of area users.

Implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of the training programs and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.

Identify proactively learning gaps and future training needs and manage the development of content to facilitate meeting those needs.

Collaborate with various stakeholders, including managers, supervisors and subject matter experts to ensure that training materials align with product updates and user needs.

Deliver training to new and current employees using a variety of instructional techniques

Assess and assign training related to implementation of changes

Establish timelines to achieve goals and objectives outlined in the curriculum
Adapt training programs to meet a variety of learners
Travel to attend classroom training and events as needed
