What will you be doing?

This position supports the Consumer Data Acquisition team at Circana. The candidate will be responsible for managing the data collection life cycle of online marketing research projects for major CPG and General Merchandise clients. This candidate will be accountable for the success of each project.

Project Specialists will coordinate with internal departments to complete projects on time and within budget while maintaining strict quality and customer satisfaction standards.

Project Specialists have ongoing tracking survey responsibilities in addition to ad hoc surveys and receipt sample projects; responsibilities include change cycles, sampling (daily/weekly/monthly), reporting, billing and cross team communication.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement all online surveys for internal clients; consulting with them on survey design, sampling, field monitoring, quality control and data delivery.
    • Ensures projects are completed on time; meeting/exceeding expectations.
    • Continually monitors project progress, troubleshooting issues and identifying and implementing realistic and cost effect solutions.
    • Escalates and addresses potential issues and challenges in a timely manner.
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with the clients, colleagues, and cross-functional peers during the entire project life cycle. Demonstrate understanding and insight of business issues.
    • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Acts as a liaison between internal clients and project stakeholder groups.
    • Foster and maintain close working relationships with Circana personnel and offshore programming team to execute and monitor projects as well as resolve any issues that may arise while a project is in the field.
  • Learn internal sampling tool and survey software needed to execute and manage all variations of surveys.
  • Reviews and approves all survey cost inputs for billing to external departments.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, degree in Marketing or Market Research preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Project management skills with the demonstrated ability to multi-task across a variety of projects preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator (written, verbal).
  • Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well on a team as well as independently.
  • Market research background a plus but not necessary.
