Be part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Resideo products. You will work closely with engineering leadership on managing data collection and processing, documenting product specifications and processes, and technical illustrations. You will help coordinate project planning and scheduling, act as a liaison between engineering groups, and provide data reporting for both internal and external customers. Promoting adoption and use of knowledge management in the Life Safety team through the development and support of KM activities. Maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization. Facilitating the smooth functioning of Life Safety team SharePoint Portals.

Job Duties

  • Prepare hardware prototypes and equipment for product testing, including soldering, wiring, and assembling test fixtures and prototypes.
  • Assist engineers in conducting functional tests, performance tests, and reliability tests on sensor products, recording test data and observations accurately.You Must Have
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on sensor development and product design.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and optimize performance for efficiency and reliability.
  • Clear and concise communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

We Value

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician, preferably in a product development or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and assembling electronic circuits and components.
  • Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
  • Some experience in engineering
  • SharePoint, HTML, CSS, Confluence
  • Good understanding of the technology
