Here at Resideo you will use your advanced knowledge of hardware engineering, processes, and tools to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Resideo's next generation of products by designing, testing, and validating products and processes from prototype to market.

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc)
  • Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
  • Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product compliance
  • Present to leadership and external customers
  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
  • Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to pertinent parties
  • Establish and follow methodologies for new or existing concepts
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles
  • Suggest enhancements to advance projects
  • Knowledge expert in RF and electrical engineering designs involving Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Z-Wave and Zigbee/RF4CE networking technologies and other emerging wireless technologies including FCC requirements & bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART and SDIO
  • Deep subject matter expertise in some of the following areas: batteries, power supplies, displays, touch, wireless protocols, RF & antennas, MCUs, signal integrity, mixed signal analog & audio, power management, environmental sensors, & optical systems

You Must Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a focus on sensor development and product design.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools
