The Opportunity

Our location in Lake County, IL currently has a wonderful opportunity to join a fast growing, energetic cybersecurity awareness team, working for a company that develops life-changing technologies that help people live their best lives through good health.
This role is within Abbott’s Enterprise Cybersecurity Education and Awareness team. Our mission is to educate Abbott users about cybersecurity risks and best practices to stay safe at work and at home. We are looking for a candidate who has creative ideas to provide cybersecurity education, reach target audiences, influence behavior change, and promote existing resources.
What You’ll Work On
The candidate must have strong communication skills to translate complex or technical concepts into simple, engaging terms, and tailor content for different audiences. We are looking for a creative individual who is highly motivated, curios, has great leadership skills and is able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
+ Continue to establish the team as the go-to team for all cybersecurity awareness needs.
+ Ensure expansion of the Cybersecurity Awareness library of relevant, timely and accurate content.
+ Proactively develop new content for key awareness topics, manage all SME and reviewer routing.
+ Working with cybersecurity team leads to develop services information that better promotes their offerings.
+ Launch and manage bi-annual cybersecurity risk presentation in collaboration with CTI.
+ Support enterprise-wide needs for cybersecurity awareness communications and training.
+ Support development of enterprise cybersecurity awareness training content and video.
+ Develop articles, scripts and other promotional content in preparation of moving to the Living Security platform.
+ Manage rollout of roll-based training initiatives from content development through execution including enterprise annual training and DLP initiatives.
+ Campaign development involving SME’s for initial direction on risk, potential process improvement and managing deliverables (i.e., development of comms, training).
+ Identify knowledge gaps or behaviors leading to data protection or cybersecurity risk associated with specific groups, make programming recommendations and support creation, rollout and reporting aspects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
+ Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
+ Working knowledge of cybersecurity risks and cyber threat intelligence
Preferred Experience:
+ Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
+ Strong leadership skills, including the ability to clearly and confidently articulate a plan and obtain buy-in from senior leaders.
+ Experience in creating and executing communication campaigns supporting employee awareness, marketing, or training. -
+ Project Management experience is a plus

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
