Job Description
- Director within the Integrated and Global and Solutions line of business at Willis Towers Watson US LLC in Chicago, IL.
- Provide strategic actuarial consulting expertise in connection with global retirement plan accounting, valuation and design.
- Act as strategic advisor for global benefits broking engagements (i.e., under the Global Benefits Management model).
- Provide advice regarding global benefits risk financing including pooling, global underwriting and captive feasibility and implementation projects.
- Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent client relationship management.
- Lead multinational actuarial consulting client engagements by building leveraged global, regional and local country teams that work effectively together; developing project plans; and ensuring project managers maintain team progress against established budgets, timelines and quality standards .
- Lead aspects of global M&A projects including due diligence, integration planning and implementation deal phases for benefits and HR policy work streams – including overarching strategic advice and PMO support.
- Perform technical review of complex retirement valuations as well as other actuarial work products.
- Finalize and present quality deliverables to clients.
- Contribute to the development of new actuarial tools, intellectual capital and approaches related to global consulting.
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
