This role is hybrid, we are looking for candidates with the ability to work onsite at our Auburn WA headquarters up to two days per week.
Global Benefits Program Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Worldwide Benefits Program Manager to oversee and administer our company's health and welfare benefits programs. As a Worldwide Benefits Program Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive benefits packages that attract, retain, and motivate our employees. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, such as HR, finance, and external vendors, to ensure the successful delivery and ongoing maintenance of our benefits programs. This is a critical position that requires exceptional attention to detail, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's benefits goals, strategies, and employee needs.
Design and implement comprehensive benefits, wellness, and retirement programs for all Zones locations worldwide that align with the company's overall compensation and benefits strategy.
Evaluate and select external benefit vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Oversee the completion of all aspects of benefits administration, including enrollment, eligibility, plan changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage the day-to-day operations of benefits programs, including resolving employee inquiries, coordinating with payroll, and addressing any issues that arise.
Conduct regular audits and analyses of benefits programs to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and deliver employee communications regarding benefits, including open enrollment materials, plan changes, wellness, retirement, and educational resources.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to benefits and retirement programs and make recommendations for enhancements or modifications as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide including HR, finance, legal, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and coordination of benefits programs with other company initiatives.
Monitor and analyze benefits utilization data to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
Provide guidance and support to HR and management on benefits-related matters, including compliance, policy interpretation, and issue resolution.
Participate in benefits-related audits and compliance reviews, ensuring accurate and timely submission of required documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) in benefits administration and management, with exposure to Global benefits, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA, and a track record of ensuring compliance.
Experience with 401k plans
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing competitive and cost-effective benefits programs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
